THANKS it's very tempting but, then I would have to change my pipes... I might have to get the Freedom duals course then I would need the side rails for them too....Wow amazing how getting a good deal on some bags turns into $2000 fast!

Hi Eric.
I'm mounting a pair of venture bags with bag guards using lower venture star hardware and easy brackets on my 03 roadstar.
There's a lot of work to do: to bend the royal mounts to make them straight, to build 4 brackets, to modify the rear spacer and minor things...
Anyway, I'm almost done, I need to enlarge only the rear spacer (the one that goes behind the wheel and below the fender). I'll post some picture when it's finished, if you are interested

Looks great eirinn, man those are big, you should have plenty of room to put things when you tour europe..

I can't argue that..but where does she sit? or do you just stuff her into one of the bags

she has her own bike, a Moto guzzi nevada, but without bags, so i have to carry the load for two bikes
