Advantage? Mmmmm

It's cool.
It cleans up the area.
It reduces parasitic drag by removing directional changing components.
Weight loss.
Allows you to run a custom oil tank.
Allows you to shorten the entire bike for improved handling.
oh yeah, and it's cool. LOL

Warstar great job, how did you come up with the idea of RSD, also with the pulley on the Right side where did you get a belt to suit it. (I need a longer one) And is there any offset. I current have a 240 wide rear wheel and a 20mm offset front puley and it doesn't line up. With the two pulley inline the wheel is about 2inches to far to the right, so its not in the centre of the frame anymore. Anyone have any idea's why.

Yeah...

The old Roadie motor doesn't exactly sit in the center of the frame...if I remember correctly its about 3/8 or a 1/2 to the right...then the swing arm is also offset for the belt. When starting from scratch it's not a big deal to 're-offset' the engine back the other direction (to the left) when fabricating motor mounts using a plumb bob from the frame center.
I must stress that RSD is not a weekend 6-pack job. LOL
Longer belts are available, not a big deal Jackal.
Moving and spacing the wheel can be tricky...and to keep the stock suspension may require a new swing arm.
I shortened the entire wheelbase about 4-5 inches...the shaft offset in the trans-case is 6.750"...and suspension...what suspension??? LOL

Sorry if I emplied simplicity where complication should apply.
