Anyone secretly want a Harley? 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I'll be first, at some point I would like to own one. I really like the Crossbones. I have owned Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki. I would really like to try an HD sometime. I also want to try an Indian if and when they ever "really" get back into production. But thats just me.

No "secret" for me. If they weren't priced so much more than a good Japanese alternative , I'd consider it. But they are , so I'm not. I've yelled it from the rooftops , and I'll say it again......I like all bikes , not just the one I happen to be on at that time. BB

Love My Roadstar and don't think I'll ever get rid of it, but I would like to have a Electra glide one day. In addition to My R* but a Touring Bike would be Great for long trips and such. Rode an 08 Road King Yesterday about 40 miles rides great but trans makes alot of noise on shifts and stock handlebars are way to low for My taste. Maybe a Goldwing hmmmmm

Quite honestly, the only thing tat I see good about harley's is that they seem to have more powerful engines. Riding next to them--they can take off more powerfully/fast than we can. Otherwise, there's nothing that about the Harley that would make me change bikes.

I havent noticed that.. although they do have alot of torque in the 96 CI motor. My bike is plenty fast, I love it. I just would like to try one as I have had everything else.

I owned a 1977 HD FXE...that bike pushed me to Japanese bikes. Would I ever buy another HD, yeah; maybe a Night Train...my choice came down to the R* and the Heritage Softail...R* won going away...price was part of the consideration but overall quality and fit was the real deal sealer for me.

Regards, Ted

No.

Have never had any interest in one. Personal preference, I suppose. The V-Rod is the first I've ever even been remotely intrigued by...and still don't want one.

Four Yamahas, four great bikes so far.
