Since I am still new here and really dont know anyone, I am curious to know if anyone from the forum is going to the myrtle beach bike week next month. I am going down on the roadie and the wife is going on her v-star. Would be cool to put some faces with names and so forth. We usually stay over by broadway at the beach, but havent made any reservations yet, I am working on that this week. We stay there so neither of us has to drive if we decide we need a good ol fashion night out... if you know what I mean. We'll be going down thursday may 15 and coming back sunday may 18. If anyone is planning to be there, let me know, maybe we can exchange #'s and eat wings at hooters or some other fine establishment during the rally.

Not gonna make it this year. Does anyone know the dates for 2009 in the spring? I am going to my girlfriends cousins wedding next year, May I believe, and I am hoping the wedding is the same time. Actually the wedding is in Charleston but figured I would just ride over to Myrtle Beach.

leaving in 2 days.... should be there around 8:30 thursday night, staying at captains quarters if anyone happens to be out and about.... and after dark I'll be on the side walk with beads... errr. ummm... I mean watching traffic.

I'll be sure to ride by and get my beads Big J.  I'm heading down either wednesday or thursday, haven't decided yet. I'll be on the other purple roadie down there( like there are a lot of purple ones!!) mine has flames though. We are staying just down the street at tropical seas, so hopefully I'll see ya. |

me and a buddy will be making the trip early friday morning.mine is not but my buddies rs is also purple. imagine that.
we will be making the rounds but are definetly going to the rathole friday night and SBB saturday night to see Rebel Son perform. if yall are interested in getting a ride together let me know. it would be cool to have a bunch of stars together! |

Hopeing to get the wife well by tomorrow shes been fighting a sinus infection for the last week, and barely got out of bed this morning. I have decided to haul from here to there just to keep her out of the weather for the long ride. We'll probably hit the old SBB, the south side harley shop, and then head up to north myrtle to barefoot landing and the harley shop up there.... my wife is a shopper.
And saturday we'll probably hit up the new SBB where rebel son will be. Thursday is calling for 60% chance of rain, friday is calling for 60% chance of rain, saturday only 20% and no rain on sunday. Hopeing the weather gods will look out for the weekend.

Loaded and ready, heading out at 4:00... anyone else that may be going, be safe the weather is supposed to get tricky tonight.... and again we're at captains quarters so if you happen to be passing swing through we may or may not be there.... but looking forward to catching up with anyone that may be there.
