I will check the float level as soon as I can. How will I know if I have a sticky float or needle? As far as I know I can check the float level with the carb still on the bike?

I dont let the bike idle before shutting it off, also I dont think the idle is high.

Thanks for your help so far, I will let you know what I find.

Try letting the bike sit and idle for 15 or 20 seconds before you shut it off.
