#85792 Tealw1 (User) Senior Boarder Posts: 269 Gas Tank Mod 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I've been looking, but I can't find it. I just wanted to give props to whoever it was that recommended the gas tank mod where you get an awl and poke holes around the inside neck of the gas cap. Now I can fill it up all the way to the bottom of the caps lip quickly, and since the holes are all even, I know that I am filling up to the same exact reference point. I would asume this will give me more accurate MPG calculations, but it sure saves me time at the pump.
