Gold Boarder Posts: 859 Re:Adjusting the idle speed on the roadstar 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago   I read somewhere that the idle for the R* sould be somewhere around 900 RPMs, or so... (Something to do with keeping the oil pressure up... It always seems that my service tech like to adjust it when the engine is cold... so, when my Star warms up (after about a half hour of "real" running...) I have to turn the idle back down from a slow race... Adjust your RPMs to around 900 when the engine is hot... and then, when it's cold, use the choke to adjust the RPMs to keep it from stalling...(the first click out on the choke stop is just enough to raise the idle to do that.)   Logged     Over 50...?
