Another passing light ? 4 Years ago
Okay got the AIS off this afternoon and figured I'd tackle the passing lights. I broke the little lip off the top of the outer bezel ring that holds it in place...Any suggestions?? I was thinking maybe some silicone...

gentle bronzing maybe..but the heat might discolor the chrome..pretty thin..

silcone may hold on the entire rim but sloppy..

new lamp cause you cant buy the ring separate....

I'm thinking about the only way you can make it look decent is to pony up the bucks for a new light. I'd check ebay first. You'd probably find a set of two for what you'd pay for one from Yamaha.

I broke the tab on the FP cover too. I epoxied a piece of metal to it. Still holding!

Re:Another passing light ? 4 Years ago
Just so I get it right...I have the tri-bar lamps. I believe that this is the same as the halogen correct? but the sealed beam is smaller? So if I can find a replacement it's gonna have to be either a halogen or the tri-bar. Or are the housings the same size. I remember reading a thread on the Adjure tri-bar's someone had put on and thought that they needed the sealed beam housing to fit those beacause its smaller than the halogen. Which is tempting...I already have the Adjure Tri-bar Blue dot headlight. Which if I had read that thread before buying Yami's passing lamps...I would have gone with those. Anyway's...comments?
