My experience with the Mapams is no. I tried. I ended up buying a road bar from Barons .... Then having 2 extra brackets made from SS because even that bar landed where the shifter/brake was. Worked out good for road trips. Here's a pic installed. Not trying to sound like a sales guy here , but I no longer have the Roadie......and the bar with the extra brackets is just taking up space in the garage. If you might be interested, let me know. They are Mapam forward controls. easy install. However, I tried to put a stebel horn on and the mounting bracked I bought did not work withowt the stock floorboards. The seat is from draggerseats which you can read about in the vendors section. They are custom made. not expensive. you will have to remove your helmet hook to make the seat fit.

On a related note, anyone know of an engine guard/crash bar that will work with the extension kits for stock floorboards? I like the stock boards but would love them a few inches forward, but I also want a nice fat crash bar with some highway pegs. Don't make me choose one or the other
