i'm thinking of roadhouse duals 4 Years ago
I've been reading that I dont need to change jets for just pipes, and I want some added proformce but want to keep mpg at 38 or better. I'm open to all ideas. I would even do the mods myself if I got tips.As it stands now I'm getting a 07 R* and the dealer is going to do the install
of roadhouse duals and a dynojet kit. Now I'm thinking of just getting the pipes and doing it myself or should i add bak and jet ?

Either way, but you get the most bang for your buck with the breather also. You'll feel more pull, and she'll just breathe better . Also thats when my m.p.g.'s came up...after the new breather. If a dealer does do a jetting for you..... watch they dont go to rich, ..as they like to do.

I love my Dooleys, but I did the BAK and re-jets long before them with Longshots. Ended up modifying my Dooleys to more or less match the larger jets I put in years before.

In a nutshell....I have read many times in many venues changing pipes alone does not require re-jet and I believe this to be true. The Dooleys stock were deeper sound, but not loud and look great. They should work fine with stock set-up. Now if you want more hp by getting more air (BAK), fuel (jet kit) then they will or should work for that also. Seems like your choice........would not do the BAK unless you want it for performance reasons.

Don't let the dealer tell you that you have to jet with just pipes if you have them put them on. It's not hard to do so I would say save your self some money and put them on yourself. An air kit and jetting will improve the performance and most likely you will be able to increase your mpg. You should also port your manifold if you go to an air kit. Jetting isn't hard if you do it step by step and have patience. It's when you just guess and toss in parts that yo get into trouble.

As for the duals. I don't know if RH is shipping pipes yet.
