Welcome Mech: I also am a new member, joining last week. Love the info I'm getting. I have a 03' Roadie Silver Ed. Bought it 2 1/2 yrs. ago with 4600 mi. on it. Now has 25,000. I love the bike. With the info, I just removed the tank, and did my first plug job! Capt.Kirk

That would be my clutch lever and shifter...I went suicide on the shifter and I didnt want to engage with my foot so I went hand lever. I am not sure if it will be the final step though,,we'll see after iride it, might change back to handlebar.

I appreciate all the welcomes here. I am glad as I said that I stumbled across this site. I have learned alot in the last couple of years about the mechanics and electronics of the Roadstar " not all by choice" and I hope I can contribute to he site in any way possible. I'm hoping to figure out a way to set up photo album of hte choppers journey from stock to where it is now..I have tons of pics during production and I would love to share.
BTW,,in a humorous " not really " note...I woke ups this morning to a sick feeling in my stomache that I had forgot to drop the kickstand last night after I left the garage....well,,,,I did , and I found the chopper on its side after it fell over off the jackstand...you can imagine my heart dropped about 9 inches,,but after investigating the scene the only damage was a bend in the handlebars..not one ship of paint and it was all due to the fact that the footpad and battery box allowed the bike to fall casually into a lean and not drop dead to the pavement. Needless to say I am very fortunate to not have a 2 year project get destroyed.
