I recently found the cover of the key hole on my gas cap was loose, I mean it would not stay in place and when filling tank it would come off. Noticing it was threaded I thought, Oh, I can fix that. It was loaded and it exploded! Now I've lost one of the springs for the catches and it's useless. A new one is $83, does anyone now of a source for springs or if not a more reasonable source for a replacement aftermarket cap? Costly error! Thanks!

Go to the RoadStar Riders Forum and ask the question. The link is on the Home Page.

There are a number of guys who have changed over to afermarket gas caps and I'm sure someone has one laying around and would be willing to part with it.
