Drill the Stock Exhaust (stage 1 7 Years, 11 Months ago  
This thread discusses the Content article: Drill the Stock Exhaust (stage 1

I just did the stage 3 mod to my 04' R*.
TIP-A 2 3/4" hole saw fits perfectly in the exhaust pipe to drill
out the rear baffle plate. Much cleaner than drilling 1" holes all
around the center pipe. If you did the stage one mod, whats left
of the baffle will give way easily to work the center pipe out. No
need to mess with a hammer and chisel. Hope this helps.
