Phat Performance Parts 2 Months ago
I know some of the members here have ordered from these guys, so I'm just wondering what kind of shipping time to expect.

I placed an order a week ago today (June 19th) and still no email saying that it's been shipped or that it's been delayed. Their website states that orders usually ship within 3 business days (that would've been Tues.) or they will email you notifying you of the delay. So far I haven't heard from them saying it's been shipped or delayed. Called and got their voice mail so I left a message. Waiting to see if they call me back now.

Oh yeah; Payment's not an issue. I used Paypal, so they got paid right away.

Just wondering......

In The Wind,
Aaron

I would give them a call. I had a tough time with them when I ordered my stainless steel cables but, one several other orders were ok. My last order was the Kury flamed boards and the Kury Taillights the floor boards got here right away but the lights took a little over a week. I called and it was Kury that had the delay.
I have been very satified with Phat overall compared to other vendors out there. They also have the best $'s too.

Give them a call they are open from 8-5 M-F pacific time

I recently ordered the Baron BAK from Phats and it took around a week for item to arrive from time of order. No complaints other than little email communtication.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from Phats and usually have it in about a week. There was one case where a Baron's part was on back order, but Phats kept me informed and offered alternatives, all at a higher price though. I generally call if I have an issue and have never had to leave a message. Try calling again, or you can go on line and check the status of your order.

They're usually real good about taking care of people. I try and order from them whenever I buy something. They have their bad times too though just like every other business. I've had a couple issues but they did everything they could to take care of it.

Got my V&H pipes from them, order details got screwed up the warehouse shipped it to them instead of me..
they made good on it and my pipes were here only a couple days later..
Just the nature of things, I like to be sure they have stuff in stock before I order any more, from anyone, just because when I decide I want something I usually procrastinated for ever before doing it and want it now..

Re:Phat Performance Parts 2 Months ago
I buy a lot of parts from them, generally good prices and good response via email. I have had a couple of problems when I didn't get their message about a delay in shipping due to backorder, but they cleared it up by email very quickly and were able to give me a pretty accurate delivery date. Like Musky said, every business has it's problems, they don't seem to have more than anyone else and they are nice folks to do business with.

Re:Phat Performance Parts 2 Months ago
Called them again later this afternoon and talked to someone (didn't catch his name), and he said that the delay in shipping was due to a delay in them receiving part of the order. He appologized for the delay and for the fact that I hadn't been notified.

No biggie really, as I don't have to have the stuff I ordered. It's not like the bike is broke down (Knock on wood!!!) and I'm waiting for parts.

Aaron
