I am writing to let you guys know that I am going to the Dark Side Officially, I signed the Papers on a 08 Electra Glide Classic Yesterday, I want to let you all know that I enjoyed the Clinic and appreciate all the info and help I received here. I have some things for sale from the Roadie if anyone is interested, I have the Fairing I just got for the Bike, paid $1500.00 for it, I will sell for $1000.00, still in the box unopened or unused, I also have the Mustang Seat I put on it a few Months ago, like new still $300.00, I have the Speedstar Air Cleaner Kit also, make me an offer if interested, you can contact me at -

Congrats! It don't matter what you ride as long as you're riding. They all have 2 (or sometimes 3) wheels, run gas, use oil, give the owner tremendous pride and are part of a brotherhood of riders. I visit many other posts for different bikes and have been welcome no matter what. "Dark side"? Only in politics.

Thanks Guys, I will not forget you all, I will check in to see what is going on and post some pics of the New Bike. I have been wanting to try out the New Engine and 6 Speed Tranny and Fuel Injection.

I understand the lure of the H-D hardware. I was just in a shop today getting a helmet for the wife and it was "Take a Test Drive" day there. Lots of folks milling about waiting for their turn to throw their legs over a H-D.
There were quite a few bikes that were just flat out beautiful: Classic lines, nice exhaust note and did I mention chrome? The only bike I sat on was a '07 Road Star that looked exactly like the bike I own. The wife simply wanted to see how the seat felt with a short backrest installed. Better, but I think I'm gonna try and find her a taller backrest.
No hard feelings to those that don't ride our beloved Road Star bike. I'm at home regardless of what you ride.
