Long Riding Seats 1 Month, 4 Weeks ago
If anyone is having any comfort problems with either their driver or passenger seats, my son and I can fix it. We can make a stock Roadie seat as comfortable as any custom at a fraction of the cost, about $165. We lower seats and can move your riding position forward or farther back. Tail bone pain? We do medical applications also.
If you look at the seat profile on my 2000 Roadie (65,000 miles)you'll notice that the stock seat is slimmer, dished for the butt and thighs, and is a long reach seat to fit my 6'4" height ($185).
If your better half complains about the aweful ride on the passenger seat, a great fix is to have us replace the stock foam and widen the seat one inch. Visually you can't tell the difference, but this moves the pressure point farther down her thigh and deduces pressure at the same time ($150). Makes your ride more enjoyable as well(quiet).
We can work on any make seat: stock or custom, stapled, riveted, or glued. We don't rebuild ones that already have an integrated heating element. We can, however, heat your seat. We do not make custom covers, we use the cover on the seat. We will work with your upholsterer or recommend one that we already work with.
Please check us out at www.buttbuffernfl.com.
We use the same synthetic rubber, called dry polymer, that is used in hospital beds to reduce bedsores and is used on surgical tables to keep blood circulating properly. The manufacturer offers a lifetime quarantee on the product not to rupture, leak, or break. No gel or memory foam.
Any Road Star Clinic member will get a 10% discount on pad purchases. If you have any questions, please call me at 352-258-6034.

Yup! We even sterilize them between operations. Splash of scotch here, splash of vodka there.

We use a synthetic rubber, called dry polymer. I can cut it to fit any shape seat pan and still give a lifetime guarantee not to rupture or leak. No gels or memory foam. If you know any nurses, its the same stuff they use on operating tables or in burn ward beds. Its only 1/2 inch thick, so we can put it flush into a seat, even on a low profile chopper seat.
We also sell it as just a top cover that you can move from bike to bike. If you ride on a lot of hot days, the ladies especially like top cover pads because they can put them in the freezer for several hours before the ride, or in the restaurant beer cooler at a lunch stop, and have a nice air conditioned butt for an hour or so. www.buttbuffernfl.com
