Man I'm sorry to hear that, If you plan on changing the rectifier, I think Musky posted some info a while back about a company that sells an upgraded stator and rectifier..It might be an option for you especially if you have any plans on adding any extra electric gadgets..you could do a search on the forums and probably find it..

I think its what i need..checked the ohm load on stator all three leads are around 4.5. I just replaced the battery so I know its good. I'm thinking on ordering a stator too just in case . Are you willing to part with your spare?

Weird I tookmy r/r off and did a diode check this morning they all checked out...bought a new meter btw mine wouldn't ohm out to 0.Started gping through the charging 101 steps again.put the r/r back on the bike ,fired her up and now it's all in specs ? I mean I ran a constant voltage check on it for more than 20 min. took her out for a few miles check again and its still right where it needs to be.. also i did idle it up just a bit. I've got 13.29 volts at idle with the lightbar on.Givin her some gas I get 13.99-14.02 Maybe it was just a bad connection?

Probably .... good idea to use dielectric compound on your connections next time you put them together.
