The 04-present take the flanges. It just depends on the year of your bike. The AIS 'injects' fresh air in the exhaust stream to burn up unburned fuel. What you are hearing is the after burn which is muffled by the stock exhaust. With the slipons it is noticeable. Doc Thanks Doc! So the flow is going into those cylinder hoses to add to the exhaust flow? When I first read about AIS I thought there was a connection to the exhaust pipes. But now I think I get it! What's the purpose then of the intake manifold connection? Just for vacuum for the system?   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access.
